The Xiles have been playing together since 2002. We are a family band, originally from Dublin, Ireland, and now settled in and around St. Louis, Missouri. What started off as a trio has now grown to a five piece band. Declan plays the guitar and sings, Ray plays the bass and sings, Steve plays keyboards and sings, Damien play the drums and Josh plays the fiddle. We play out every weekend at different venues including Castletown Geoghegan in Belleville, the Dubliner on Washington, O'Malleys on Cherokee, Maggie O'Brien's Pub on Market and RT Weilers in St. Charles. We play Irish ballads with lots of energy. Some would classify us folk rock. |
